Why do we share our faith as Christians?

As we look around it’s obvious that things on earth are not as they should be. Brokenness and sin reaches to every aspect of our world (Rom. 3:23). There are rifts between us and God, each other, creation and even within ourselves. Jesus said He came so “that we may have life and have it to the full” (John 10:10). We desperately need the forgiveness and restoration God offers us through Jesus’ death on the cross. And when we receive this gift of salvation, God commits to us this “message” (2 Cor. 5:19) to share with others. “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. (2 Cor. 5:20) God chose to share this message of forgiveness and restoration through people who follow Jesus.
